What are your couples bracelets made from?
Our personalised couples bracelets are made from tagua seed, which is known as vegetable ivory as it is tough, durable, yet totally cruelty free! It grows on palms in Ecuador -like a coconut- then falls to the ground to be harvested, sliced, dried and sent to us in Brighton to make lovely bracelets from! Fun fact, did you know that traditionally your 14th wedding anniversary is supposed to be made from ivory? Because the tagua seed is known as vegetable ivory, our couples bracelets make a brilliant 14th anniversary gift, because no one wants to give a gift made of real ivory anymore, right?
The bands of our engraved couples bracelets are made from durable, fadeproof waxed cotton. You can choose from a number of colours and you can wear your couples bracelet in the shower, out for a swim, when you are surfing, skydiving or shark cage diving. You never need to take it off.
